Virtual Arts Day - June 22
Each Arts teacher has put together a fabulous virtual classroom! With just a few clicks, you will have access to a gallery of student work, arts enrichment activities, and virtual field trips. The link provided will take you to the foyer where you have the option to go to the classroom of your choice. Each teacher’s classroom has sections where you can find student work to view as well as arts enrichment activities. Since this will be a brand new way of exploring for students, we are including a video to show students how to access each gallery. Enjoy!
Virtual Art Gallery
P.S. 89's Equity Team hosted a Call to Action Day, a presentation of student responses to the current demonstrations for racial justice. Students in grades K-8 were invited to share: artwork, writing, music, and performances on Flipgrid. (It's like a virtual assembly/art gallery/talent show!)
Check out the student submissions in each Flipgrid, separated by grade band.
