PS 89's Scholastic Book Fair
We're excited to provide the opportunity for students to participate in the Scholastic Book Fair. Between 12/13 and 12/20, all classes will visit the book fair. Every student will receive a free book!

Holiday Spirit Week
December 20th: Flannel and Fuzzy Sock Day, wear your favorite flannel and/or fuzzy winter socks
December 21st: Winter Wonderland, wear white!
December 22nd Ugly Sweater Day, wear the ugliest sweater you can find or get creative and make your own
December 23rd: Pajama and Sweats Day, chill out and get comfy as we head into winter recess. *must be appropriate for school
Community Book Fair
Tuesday, November 23, 2021
The Book Fair took place in the large yard. There were craft stations, hot cocoa, and free books! Each family that filled a bag with books had the opportunity to receive a turkey.
Meet the Author: Egypt Bush
Egypt Bush is a 7 year old author who started writing books during quarantine. She draws her inspiration from everyday life and encourages everyone to find the hero in them. She shares her love for writing with students by visiting schools and writing books.
